Denver and Rio Grande Western steam locomotive number 3414 (2-8-8-2) approaches the railroad station in La Veta (Huerfano County), Colorado. TA man stands near the frame building which has "La Veta" painted on the side. A sign on the building reads: "Western Union Telegraph and Cable Office." An automobile is parked beside the building.
